This is the sound of rain splattering in the spout outside my apartment building. Recorded with: at 4073a, sound devices 702t.

No reverberation of the drip2 sample. "plippy". Legend:. "plippy" - short, low attack, low release. "ba-doom-umf" - heavy bass, similar to a large mass object being dipped underwater. Low attack, medium decay, low-medium sustain, low release. "slappy" - self-explantory, low attack but high release. "no-oh-wah" - sort of surreal acoustic profile. A combination of low attack, low sustain and release.

A reverberation of the drip2 sample. A "ploppy" drip similar to a distant sound of a shower. . . Or of something indecent.

A reverberation of the drip3 sample. Externalised due to the early reflection bouncing the sound waves off the sink.

A reverberation of the drip7 sample. Quite dramatic, possible applications could be a sad person crying and the last drop is emphasized in the shot or a lonely alleyway. . . Maybe even an underground water system.

This is a recording of water dripping into the downpipe of a a gutter. I like the rhythm and the tiny variations, it sounds like techno-music. Some cars are passing by.

Field recording in stereo of raindrops falling a rather fast pace into a tin can, as i hold the can closer to the source, the drops are pitching higher and higher.

This sound was made using a wet paper towel and wet towel together. I dropped the towel and squished the wet paper towels in my hand to get this effect. Edited in adobe audition.

Some attempts to record water droplets into water.

Grinding a single cup of espresso by hand in a peugeot coffee grinder. It was recorded with a maono au-903 usb mic pointing at the grinder, and set to cardioid. (i'm new to sound recording so i'm taking lots of notes to try and learn what works best. ).
